142nd IPU ASSEMBLY CANCELLED
The upcoming 142nd IPU Assembly and related meetings expected to take place in Geneva in April 2020 was cancelled.
This was announced by the IPU Secretary General today in an official communication addressed to all the member parliaments.

The decision to cancel this biennial global parliamentary event came following the critical outbreak of the Coronavirus, formally declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) a pandemic.
